Important News...Women, Whining and Wright
Have you heard about "push polling"? Apparently the Clinton campaign aggressively hounded PA senior voters until they caved in and agreed to vote for Hillary. Hmm? We also had pro-Obama PA folks we called who told us something was something fishy about flyers sent out with delegate choices...seems it was hard to tell which delegates were Obama's and which were Clintons. And what about the PA Republicans who temporarily flipped Democratic?
In response to accusations in the media that Obama is whining about the stupid questions he is asked in interviews and debates...there is a clear difference between complaining and "whining" and expressing concern about slander, misrepresentation, racism and semi-legal, underhanded trickery. Obama do not debate Hillary again!
Hillary continues to take the low road. It is important to consider there are bigger issues at stake than whether a woman is elected president, or Hillary deserves a win or political pundits stand to benefit from supporting one or another of the candidates. Hillary is fast losing credibility with the rest of the world...who are indeed watching closely. She will end up having little diplomatic clout if she brings down the first black Presidential candidate via racist slander...a man who deserves to win not because he is black but because he is the best person for the job. This country is facing crises on many different levels. We need someone of Obama's talents, temperment and ethical backbone to be able to lead us back to what has been lost in the last three occupations of the White House. Obama can bring people together. He is supported by many political figures in both parties who are well respected and a strong base of loyal citizen supporters.
Wright has eagerly stepped into the lime light again this week offering voters just another excuse to reject Obama without appearing racist. There is nothing wrong with Wright's church being culturally "black" and offering a platform for blacks to discuss issues that concern them. The denomination of his church is not "black" and the congregation at Wright's church is multi-racial. God bless them! I know many a church in towns I've lived in where there are no people of color and the cultural of the church is entirely white...with no effort towards inclusion of people of color. Is that bad, wrong, unAmerican? If we are indeed a melting pot then citizens should gladly be in favor of fully integrated neighborhoods, churches and schools.
I'd love to see a woman president, but not Hillary. I want to have a president I can respect at least once in my lifetime.
